Child Safety Standards
Our commitment
MeetRadius has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
MeetRadius helps people discover and join real-world activities near them. We prohibit using the app for illegal activity, harassment, sexual solicitation, or any conduct that endangers minors.
Age requirements
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your region, to use MeetRadius.
MeetRadius is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account or shared personal information, contact us immediately (see Contact below).
Prohibited conduct
Users may not use MeetRadius to:
- Groom, exploit, or endanger minors
- Share, request, or distribute CSAM or CSAE-related content
- Harass, threaten, or solicit minors
- Impersonate others or misrepresent age or identity
- Use the service for any other illegal activity
Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.
Report child safety concerns in the app
MeetRadius includes in-app reporting so users can flag harmful behavior for manual review by our team. Reporting is available for:
- Activities — open an activity and use Report from the menu
- Users — report from a member profile or activity context
- Chat messages — report from direct messages or activity group chat
- Moments — report from the moment menu
When reporting, choose a reason (for example, harassment or hate, unsafe meetup, spam or misleading, or other) and add optional details. Reports are stored for review and tracked with a pending status until handled.
You can also block users from report flows or manage blocked users in Settings → Privacy & safety.
Important: In-app reporting is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
How we respond to reports
Our team reviews user reports manually. When we confirm CSAE, CSAM, or other serious violations, we may:
- Remove offending content
- Suspend or permanently ban the account
- Preserve relevant records as needed for safety and legal compliance
- Report to regional or national authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or equivalent bodies, where required by law
Prevention practices
MeetRadius works to reduce harm through:
- Clear community rules in our Terms of Service
- In-app report and block tools across profiles, activities, chat, and moments
- Manual review of submitted reports
- Account enforcement for policy violations
- Safety guidance in Help & support (including tips to meet in public and report unsafe behavior)
